And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day. Schedule Details: Hours 8:30 - 5; May vary with clinic needs. Performs administrative support, coordinates day to day activities and triage functions for multiple adult and child practitioners, as well as projects and/or programs they support. Major Responsibilities: \ Under the supervision of the lead coordinator conducts telephone screenings according to established program policies and procedures. \ Accepts telephone, fax and email referrals from PCP offices, other agencies, etc. \ Responsible for patient intake process including, but not limited to registration functions, insurance verifications, co-payment process, and scheduling. \ Assists lead coordinator with development and maintenance of patient master schedules. \ Gathers necessary medical record and medication information as appropriate and forwards to appropriate clinician. \ Makes appropriate referrals to community agencies according to established guidelines. \ Maintains case file documentation both in electronic and paper format documents and numbers each case in department electronic database. Position Qualifications: Required: \ High school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized courses required. Preferred: \ Associates Degree, in Psychology or Human Services desired. Experience/Skills: Required: \ Minimum of three years of related work experience. \ Knowledge of medical terminology, health and wellness and healthcare office experience required. \ Ability to work independently while prioritizing workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Preferred: \ Demonstrated expertise utilizing various software applications, including Microsoft Office applications, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, and database utilization preferred. \ Medical system software, IDX, Allscripts, and insurance verification software strongly preferred.
