Shenandoah University Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Winchester, Virginia

Shenandoah University’s College of Arts & Sciences is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. This full time benefitted Faculty position is based on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia. This position will involve primarily teaching introductory chemistry courses (General Chemistry I and II) within the Chemistry curriculum. Preference will be given to those with a background in physical chemistry or environmental chemistry. New faculty are expected to expand our ability to provide research opportunities to undergraduates. An on-campus, in-person presence is expected.

Required Skills

The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in chemistry completed by the appointment date (August 2023). Experience teaching chemistry courses is strongly preferred.Rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
