CAE USA INC Simulation Technician in Whenuapai, New Zealand

Role and Responsibilities

The Simulation Technician is responsible to the Site Manager (or delegate) to perform all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices under support in a safe and effective manner, ensuring maximum successful training events are able to be achieved by the end user.

This role will be located in Whenuapai, NZ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carries out all maintenance tasks effectively as directed by Senior Simulation Technician or Site Manager

  • Carries out all maintenance tasks to meet internal and external compliance requirements

  • Assists Senior Simulation Technicians with investigations supporting site based engineering development needs

  • Demonstrates professional, disciplined and safe behaviour in all day to day tasks

    Our Ideal Candidate has:

  • Cert IV IN Aeroskills (Avionics) or higher/similar

  • At least 2 years’ experience in aircraft, workshop or simulation support

  • At least 3 years’ experience in simulation support

    Note: As the New Zealand Defence Force is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance.
