Aerotek Electric Motor Technician in Troy, Michigan

Description:

Build preproduction electric motors in accordance with the build schedule.

Analyze motor defects and perform repairs as required.

Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop welding process for new motor designs.

Modify and build simply fixtures and tooling.

Operate machine shop equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, hand power tools, grinder, welder, presses, etc.)

Operate and maintain all motor lab equipment (robotic welder, epoxy and varnish machine, presses, CNC wire bender, wire forming machines, balancer, ovens, induction heater, electric test equipment (surge, Hi-pot), etc.)
