This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and has the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.

The primary purpose of this position is to review, analyze, and assemble data into tools, techniques, and processes for application by leadership and District staff to help identify program and portfolio trends and develop potential models for the effective delivery of projects in the future. This position will analyze cost, project attributes, delivery times, resource availability and other key elements as a basis for the data analysis and predictive modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of professional experience in the areas noted below:

NOTE: A bachelor's or master’s degree in data analytics, data science, business, project management, computer information systems substitutes for one year of professional experience.

· Experience in collecting data from the data warehouses, cleaning, analyzing and modeling resource data to be used for planning.

· Experience with data systems, data elements and application software solutions that optimize data gathering and data analysis.

· Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Dreamweaver or other web development tools.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with current data and analytics methods, analytic, statistical, and evaluative techniques.

· Experience with databases and database design concepts.

· Experience writing, communicating complex data into understandable formats sufficient to present to executives, and other staff.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with data visualization (Power BI, Excel) tools.
