Amazon Senior Business Development Manager, Amazon Global Selling in Singapore, Singapore

Description

Amazon is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join the

Amazon Global Selling team in Singapore. The objective of the Business Development

Manager is to identify and develop scalable lead generation programs by engaging with

external party such as government agencies, industry associations, service providers and

on/offline Seller communities to identify marketing opportunities for the Amazon Global Selling program. He/She is to provide support services to Amazon Global Sellers and identifies potential 3rd party service providers (payment, logistics, marketing, inspection, etc.) to be included in the Service Provider Network program. He/She will also play an integral role in the expansion of our Global Selling initiatives in the region.

Background on Amazon Global Selling: Amazon Global Selling helps businesses from anywhere in the world to launch a global business, reaching Amazon customers around the world and building international brands. Through sellers on Amazon online stores, sellers of different types and sizes can now sell to customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will need to be agile in their approach and able to deal successfully with contacts at all levels while discussing Global Selling on Amazon value proposition. Specifically, this person will be actively engaged in identifying, marketing to, and working with 3rd party collaborators as well as prospect merchants, but also supporting high value projects to help expand our global outreach. Additional projects include working closely with other Amazon product teams, category managers, and all other internal stakeholders in order to provide support in scaling our Global Selling outreach and bringing unique selection to all Amazon platforms.

Key job responsibilities

· Identify and create new Seller leads generations programs to engage the South East Asia Sellers on the opportunities of selling their product globally with Amazon marketplaces

·Partner and develop strong channels that includes government agencies, industry associations and service providers to enable seller to sell on Amazon

·Drive and regularly review the channel performance of Amazon's partners

·Work strategically with the regional teams to start, grow and support all aspects of the business sales cycle

·Actively networks through conferences and seminars

. Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of prospective Sellers.

· Engage with prospective Sellers to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set. Cultivate their interest to sell on Amazon.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Singapore, SGP

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units

  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
