Description

The [ATR Team Lead] is responsible for leading, managing and measuring the performance of end-to-end service delivery in the Account To Report (ATR) process areas for MRCs serviced. Involvement in management of day-to-day local site operations; and work closely with related stakeholders to ensure the financial statements of the MRCs are compliance, accurate and healthy:

Key Responsibilities

l Manages the day-to-day operations of the department including work allocation, scheduling, establishment of timelines and other related activities.

l Develop and implement A2R policies and procedures and ensure compliance as administered in GS FINANCE-China.

l Ensures the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate operating/financial statements to both internal management and external users. Monitors and facilitates month end and year-end close activities.

l Provide analysis and interpretation of results, along with the preparation of financial and operating reports to provide a basis for management planning and operating controls.

l Provide accounting and process support to BUF on business initiatives and others ects.

l Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of both the US and Local GAAP & Tax reporting working closely with the Country Tax Centers (CTC). This includes but is not limited to recording the statutory ledgers and maintaining accuracy of parallel ledgers (if applicable), focus on ensuring the correct tax accounting and liaison / coordination with internal and external audit teams.

l Other tasks within the scope of LE controllership group.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

l At least University degree in a finance related disciplines

l At least 4 – 6 years of experience in the A2R function

l Good capability to read, write and speak English and Chinese fluently

l Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, concepts (both USGAAP and Local GAAP) and operation process

l Familiarity with SAP and/or ERP system working framework, Excel

Desired Qualifications

l Obtained Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification is desired (eg. CPA/ACCA/CMA)
