Seattle Children’s Hospital Supervisor, Clinical Research in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: We are actively seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor to join Seattle Children's Research Institute. This position will support Dr. Eric Coon whose research focuses on pediatric high value care and pragmatic clinical trials involving common pediatric conditions that lead to hospitalization. The Supervisor will provide direct oversight of clinical research activities within a national framework to study follow-up care received after a hospital stay. This is an exciting clinical research leadership opportunity to support our mission of providing the best care and cures for patients after hospitalization. In addition, the Research Supervisor will work side-by-side with the Principal Investigator to oversee existing grant-funded research activities and support new grant applications. For existing projects, the Supervisor will oversee study regulatory compliance, recruitment, training, and oversight of research coordinators and study budgets. To support new grant applications, this position will identify pertinent funding opportunities and draft/edit sections of grant applications. This position's FTE will be determined by the business need and top candidate, expected to be between 0.6 - 1.0 FTE (24-40 hours per week). Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least five (5) years of research-related experience. Experience and demonstrated ability to implement and conduct Clinical Research Studies. Knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines related to human subjects and pediatric participation in research studies. Experience training and supervising Clinical Research Coordinators or other research staff. Preferred: Master's degree in a health or social services related field. Experience with the age-population of the participants in the study and their families. Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) certification. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $44.46 - $66.69 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $92,476.80 - $138,715.20 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
