Amazon Sr. Program Manager, B2B Selection and Pricing in Seattle, Washington

Our team is looking for a high-caliber Sr. Program Manager to drive strategic B2B Selection and Pricing initiatives across North America Stores. This role involves driving critical decisions with cross functional teams and senior leadership, and demands strong program management skills along-with an ability to drive data driven discussions. The candidate is expected to have exceptional analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills along with a knack for continuous innovation and improvement.

Key job responsibilities

• Work with Product, Business Development, and Category teams to identify and prioritize high impact improvement opportunities

• Lead process improvement projects to address key cross-functional issues involving B2B selection opportunities, B2B price competitiveness, and profitability improvements.

• Deliver Financial Savings through strategic projects impacting North America Stores

• Design and implement mechanisms to improve the culture of operational excellence

• Communicate status to all stakeholders through regular business reviews, and escalate issues when required

• Identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs.

• Drive consistency of process, training, and reporting across functional teams

• Provide periodic project updates, including major successes/challenges, to senior leaders

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
