Amazon Senior Account Manager in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

We are looking for a talented Account Manager to play an important role within VSP (Vendor Success Program) Team, contributing to develop close management with key distributors in the Books category, including cost negotiation, results monitoring, process improvement, and ensuring the operational performance of these distributors. Additionally, you will also be responsible for monitoring the results and strategy of the Books category for MVR, analyzing business data, category strategy in MVR, and acting as a facilitator between MVR and business to ensure the category's performance. This role will work with multiple stakeholders and teams across the Amazon organization. The successful Account Manager is an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver, and is able to balance the needs and requirements of both Amazon.com.br and strategic vendors.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop strategic mid-sized vendors with close management to accelerate their long-term growth in Retail ensuring selection growth and availability for Amazon customer in a sustainable and scalable way;

• Manage vendors from a specific Product Family, being responsible for these business P&L;

• Create, develop and execute a growth acceleration plan customized for each vendor;

• Responsible for the main operational and financial results of the vendor, developing plans that drive revenue and performance improvement margin;

• Align with the key stakeholders the business strategy;

• Analyze and track key KPIs to ensure vendors performance;

• Suggest process improvements and assist internal partners to drive them to completion.

A day in the life

• Connect with partner business teams, peers and stakeholders to understand and align business opportunities;

• Educate vendors about Amazon tools, processes and resources;

• Create and Negotiate business agreements;

• Analyze, create and manage vendors deals and events performances;

• Identify opportunities to improve tools and systems for Retail;

• Identify opportunities to simplify or automate tasks, executing opportunities involving basic software applications. (e.g. Excel).

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

  • Experience in client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills

  • Strong written and oral communication

  • Advanced English proficiency

  • Experience in strategy, consultancy, financial analysis, category management, account management, product management, project management, buying or marketing;

  • Abilities in cost management and defining business strategy;

  • Strong analytical abilities and analytical skills;

  • Track record of taking ownership and getting it done in an environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accomplished range of skill from high-level critical thinking to working with external partners;

  • Experience in Account management or vendor management is a plus;

  • Experience in relevant categories in e-commerce;

  • Data proficient and use of Excel and systems.
