In this role, you will be be the ABAP owner for all SAP programs that translates masterdata for International Benefits, whilst a portion is to also able to translate the data flow to the SaaS application we use for the space.

You will be working alongside our HRIS ABAP development team that covers multiple areas including ABAP Object-Oriented programming, customization and improvement! All this with knowledge on SAP Human Capital Management module that includes Personnel Administration, Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll and Benefits. In addition to this, experience in employee data migration and integration with other systems is a plus.

The work would include but not limited to problem, change and incident management support, solutions proof of concepts, upgrades, etc. You will lead change management process for catalogs across the HR SAP R3 landscape. Also, provide the right level of governance to ensure standard or in-house security solutions implemented across the landscape are working per design. The candidate must be agile as the work can be fluid at times.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering, design, development, testing and documenting ABAP solutions for SAP HCM

  • Able to write, debug, optimize ABAP code and documentation

  • Familiar with ITIL Practices to enable effective transition to ongoing operations

  • Flexible working on a weekend or holidays to implement a Change Request.

  • Craft documentation which may include program specification, technical design, code documentation, user manual etc.

  • Code review and optimization of ABAP programs.

  • Provide help and guidelines to the key partners in any ABAP solution: customizations, improvements, and enhancements.

  • Training and knowledge transition to other teammates

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of SAP ABAP Development for HCM (PY, PA, OM, TM and Benefits), ABAP Object-Oriented, Integrations and data migrations, SAP transactions/skills related.

  • Soft skills including ability to lead vendor resources, ability to work in a Global group with limited on-site teammates, strategic team design and development, creative problem solving, customer service capability (including knowing when to elevate issues or provide constructive feedback), and ability to engage in all parts of the support model. Project Management, agile methodologies, SAP HANA, SAP FIORI, OData Services skills are a plus.

  • Willing to work on a midshift schedule and be on site at least 2 days a week
