Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Timekeeper to join our team. The Timekeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of employee attendance, working hours, and related data. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll and time management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately track and record employee working hours, including regular and overtime hours.

  • Monitor and verify employee attendance and leave records.

  • Prepare and maintain timesheets and reports for payroll processing.

  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to resolve any discrepancies in timekeeping records.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies regarding work hours and attendance.

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to timekeeping, attendance, and pay.

  • Generate and maintain reports on employee work hours and attendance trends.

  • Assist with scheduling and shift management as needed.

  • Participate in audits and reviews related to timekeeping and payroll.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a timekeeper or in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with timekeeping software and tools (e.g., time clocks, time tracking apps).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to work hours and attendance.
