You will be an integral part of our Business-for-Sale engineering team in San Francisco and will help our mission to inspire and help entrepreneurs to find business opportunities and create value through Business Ownership.

This position is located in San Francisco and offers a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globally

  • Design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability

  • Collaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organization.

  • Advocate standards-driven technology

  • Facilitate discussions among other .NET and database developers to exchange new ideas and improvements

  • Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)

  • 5+ years of production development experience with C# .Net (or .Net Core)

  • Experience with AWS S3, SQS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, Apache Kafka and Datadog

  • Experience with IaC using Terraform.

  • Experience delivering products that meet specifications and performance SLA.

  • Experienced in unit, performance, and automation testing.

  • Deeply understand what drives the business for which you are building software.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in relational database design in MySQL including performance tuning

  • Demonstrate working knowledge Angular, Vue, React or in TypeScript

  • A demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platforms.

This position offers a base salary range of $103,000- $172,500 , based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
