Description We are inviting applications for the position of Tax Staff - Corporate in our Service industry located in San Diego, California. This role focuses on preparing and reconciling various tax returns and business filings, managing intercompany transactions, and supporting audit and tax operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and business filings

• Reconcile monthly transaction tax liabilities and ensure consistency across general ledger, trial balance, and tax data

• Analyze monthly sales data and resolve any identified variances or tax-related issues

• Prepare accurate sales tax journal entries

• Handle annual 1099 processing and reporting

• Execute intercompany journal entries and conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations

• Generate Quarterly Loan Account Statements for shareholders and other loan account holders

• Provide audit and tax support by generating accurate reports, schedules, and documents

• Assist with month-end close process and other accounting functions

• Undertake special projects as assigned by the management team

Skills:

• Proficient in CCH Sales Tax and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Accounting Functions, Auditing, and Cash Activity

• Familiarity with Tax - Sales & Use and Intercompany Accounting. Requirements • Proficiency in CCH Sales Tax software is required

• Must possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience in Accounting Functions is necessary

• Prior experience in Auditing is crucial

• Must have experience handling Cash Activity

• Knowledge in Tax - Sales & Use is essential

• Familiarity with Intercompany Accounting is needed
