Act as the first point of contact in the reporting, identifying, and managing employees through the case management and contact tracing process.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide case management of all accommodations within the US location, with a focus on the Draper plant; including conducting and documenting factual investigations, analyzing records, and providing recommendation on appropriate outcomes. Oversee and refine the accommodations E2E process and act as a liaison with other relevant stakeholders (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, EHS, Risk Management and Employee Relations and Legal)

  • Develop return to work strategies and/or accommodations in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Advise managers and employees on work coordination and accommodations. Actively search in Edwards open positions to try to accommodate the employees with restrictions.

  • Develop and analyze data to create health communications, (i.e. data on reach, employee engagement, etc); create reports as needed. Communicate findings with stakeholders.

  • Plan and implement health promotion events, workshops, and outreach activities as directed by manager and other stakeholders. Keep up to date on health trends, share new knowledge with team and apply knowledge on the job.

  • Develop reporting metrics (e.g., trending) and provide insights to stakeholders (i.e. HR, Plant leaders, cross functional teams)

  • Provide case management to major health threats (i.e. natural disaster, health programing, infectious disease) to improve the employee experience, balanced with protocols and processes associated with re-integration and contact tracing including providing input on processes. Provide recommendations and insights to the Team Leader to continuously improve HR Knowledge Base and Case Management content.

What you’ll need (Required)

  • Bachelor's Degree in in related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in health promotion/education

What else we look for (Preferred)

  • Experience and understanding of HR enabling technologies (e.g., case management, employee and manager self-service) and how they work within a customer service business environment (ServiceNow preferred)

  • Experience with an ERP system (Workday preferred)

  • Experience with Microsoft tools and applications required

  • Relevant experience in workplace reasonable accommodations programs Preferred

  • Experience with interacting and supporting all levels of management Preferred

  • Experience managing HR system data and processes Preferred

  • Results-oriented mindset (high sense of urgency, determination, tenacity, etc.).

  • Professional, high energy, engaging personality that comes across over the telephone.

  • Substantial knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment are essential

  • Substantial specialized knowledge of end-to-end HR solutions in assigned function to deliver a best in

  • Ability to effectively utilize HR technology, resource material, websites, and software to provide effective information on human resources processes and procedures

  • Adaptability and creativity in problem solving

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and any additional required language (both written and spoken). Spanish fluency is a bonus.

  • Ability to manage stressful situations and conflicting priorities, both in support of the HR team and their customers, or employees or people lead

  • Strong attention to detail and high work standards in support of seamless execution

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
