Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler Lead (9/80 schedule) to join them. You will report to the Operations supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 9/80 schedule for 1st shift hours: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm on Friday and Every other Friday off. To be considered for the Assembler Lead, here's what you'll need to bring with you: *High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. *8 years or more working experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler. *Leadership experience. *Experience with mechanical controls *Blueprint reading *Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)

As an Assembler Lead, you will: *Perform mechanical work by assembling equipment in accordance with specified procedures in an assembly line. *Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures. *Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts. *Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and being an example to your team. *Train and field questions from your team *Perform final inspection of products. *Work with supervision to build subordinates assembly skills within the assigned area. *Participate in the job interviews and applicant selection. *Provide training and resources for all employees in the assigned area. *Initiate and lead problem solving events. *Support LEAN/continuous improvement culture through fostering ideas of others. *Identify strengths of others and work to improve deficiencies. *Support company direction. *Ability to influence people.

Salary Range: Pay range for this opportunity is $25-$38 per hour The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
