Title of Position: Sourcing Manager

Location: Ridgefield, CT

Hours/Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $50-56/hr

Type: 1 year contract

Overview

Joule has an opportunity for a hybrid Sourcing Manager to work with a renowned pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have many years of experience working inside clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.

• Use Business Review Meeting and KPI leverage to resolve potential issues at an early stage.

• Feedback to Category Manager as needed.

• Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.

• Coordinate Business Partner Demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared and Business Partner is supported adequately.

• Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities.

  Requirements

• Master's Degree from an Accredited Institution

• Ten (10+) years of Sourcing experience inside the pharmaceutical industry.

• Demonstrated efficiency in the following:

• Demand management

• Market and supply analysis

• Contract Negotiation

• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timeline.

• Strong project management skills, ability to influence and bring teams to consensus and agreement
