About the role

  • To lead the monthly Demand review and reach a consensus demand plan by working closely with the Sales Leads and Cluster MD (South Pacific)

  • To improve forecast accuracy, the bias for the market in scope (South Pacific)

  • To establish and improve all DP-related regional reporting (AMEA)

  • To manage and continually improve the sales forecasting process and develop the demand planning skills, capabilities, and tools (AMEA)

  • To optimally use and improve the SAP APO process and tool, and other DP-related processes and reporting tools, with proper documentation (AMEA)

  • To lead as AMEA PPU (Process Power User) and AMEA super user

    Key responsibilities include

  • Internal - Sales (all BUs for South Pacific country cluster) – monthly:

  • Generate baseline forecast rolling 24 months horizon

  • Review actual sales vs lag 2month demand

  • Improve demand forecast to compare with the latest trend, previous year, and budget, including contracts/late contracts.

  • Facilitate demand validation and enrichment by capturing the assumptions, risks and opportunities on sales activity, customer projects, NPI, sub-co/co-packer and Interco flows

  • Agree on a final demand plan and critical points to be escalated/resolved

  • Integrate Budget and MTP process into S&OP Demand Planning monthly process

  • Internal – Customer Service – monthly:

  • Same as above

  • (CS: within 3 months, Sales: 3M onwards)

  • Internal – Supply Planning – monthly:

  • Support supply balancing activities related to demand shaping

  • Internal – Supply Chain/Finance – monthly:

  • Provide demand visibility to the supply and finance team

  • Internal - Global, Regional and Local multifunction – biweekly:

  • As AMEA PPU (Process Power User) lead and drive on system improvement plan and statistic review for AMEA, and work collaboratively with the Global / Regional / Local teams. Standardization of process across AMEA. Technical power user.

  • Communicate the needs, drive discussion, and deliver the results for DP related project/process and tool improvement for AMEA region

  • Proper documentation

  • External – Key customers – monthly:

  • Improve demand forecast via customer collaborative forecasting

  • Travel requirements: 10-15%

    About you

  • Experience managing the S&D process as a demand planner. SAP users will have an advantage

  • 10+yrs of overall experience of which 5+yrs of relevant experience in demand/supply planning and analysis

  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI knowledge is a must

  • Strong communication skills, proactive, collaborative, and consensus-driven

  • Strong analytical skills, capable of analyzing large datasets

  • Has the ability to work independently with a sense of business acumen capable of presenting logical and well-structured proposals

  • Can work in a cooperative, collegial environment across numerous business disciplines and diverse needs of various business units

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and have the capacity to apply extra effort when the occasions demand

  • Showing integrity, openness & honesty about risks and opportunities

  • Presenting honest numbers and realistic forecasts

  • Ability to challenge and make assumptions

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Close collaboration between different functions with a common business language

  • Shared accountability to provide relevant inputs for the next process steps

  • Time management skills, including the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders

  • Improve demand forecast via customer collaborative forecasting
