News Corp Australia Marketing Manager - Engagement in NSW, Australia

What’s the role?

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager this role is responsible for driving proactive subscriber engagement across our customers lifecycle to achieve volume and revenue growth aspirations for our subscriptions business’. This includes effectively partnering with our Marketing, Editorial, Analytics and Operations teams to deliver a program of multi-channel and highly personalized customer communications.

  • Leverage customer insights from Data Science, Insights, Experimentation; to inform consumer lifecycle contact strategies and deliver go-to-market plans to engage new and loyal subscribers.

  • Actively design and implement experimentation roadmaps, from early test & learn phases to executing automated engagement campaigns.

  • Partner with the wider consumer marketing team, editorial, technology, operations and content teams to identify retention gaps and drive data-driven engagement campaign responses across various channels.

  • Stay informed about industry CRM best practice to inform consumer first engagement campaigns to drive innovation.

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in lifecycle, email, CRM, or data driven marketing roles.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks

  • Ability to develop and lead successful consumer strategies and contact plans.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong understanding of customer databases and/or complex data sets
