RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You are responsible for managing all aspects regarding quality control and implementation of standards for our product portfolio.

  • You will assume responsibility for establishing the necessary procedures to meet quality standards such as ISO and IATF of international automotive, aerospace and tier 1 OEMs.

  • You also manage suppliers in terms of quality and manage relationships to national and international certification working groups in the field of hydrogen.

  • You take responsibility for creating the required quality and production procedures, and for training of the production team.

  • Your collaboration with our production teams and suppliers ensures that the quality of raw materials, processes and products is managed appropriately.

  • You will generate and approve specifications for our products.

  • You will coordinate our production output with our 3rd party manufacturing partner.

  • If a deviation from specifications occurs, you will approve or reject manufactured products.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree ideally in material science, engineering, or chemistry.

  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in the field of quality control or management, ideally for energy applications, preferably with an OEM or tier 1 supplier.

  • Extensive experience with production processes that follow strict quality standards and international norms and have experience with techniques to control these processes.

  • Detailed knowledge of the most important quality standards for production, while being able to quickly familiarize yourself with more specialized ones, such as those of the aviation industry.

  • You are a person with a quality mindset who inspires others to make rational, fact-based decisions and recognizes the importance of asking for help when needed.

  • You put customer needs at the center of the quality management process and, thanks to your excellent communication and social skills, you can build strong networks and get involved in international teams and cultures.

  • Fluent communication in English is required, knowledge of German language is a plus.

WORK LOCATION

  • Possible work locations are Ludwigshafen, Nienburg or Hannover (regular presence in the Ludwigshafen area is necessary)
