Eaton Corporation Senior Finance Manager - Protection, Controls and Solutions (PCS) Group in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is hiring a Senior Finance Manager in Moon Township, PA. Relocation is offered for this position.

Provide leadership to the Protection, Controls and Solutions (PCS) Group finance structure (Commercial and FP&A Teams) in conforming to corporate financial policies, legal requirements, and GAAP. Drive FP&A process improvements within the finance organization, create and implement policies and procedures to improve the control environment and provide increased transparency of results. Provide guidance and support in consolidating, reporting, and analyzing monthly results, forecasts, and plans.

Support PCS leadership providing commercial analysis mainly related to market share & outgrowth analytics, customer agreements (including rebates, marketing funds, commissions, warranty). Develop and maintain financial models for business opportunities like new product/project quotations and cost out/productivity initiatives to help senior management evaluate and prioritize opportunities. Manage competitiveness analysis and monitor the P&L by product line, customer and any other different channels required through insightful analysis to drive the development of action plans to achieve them.

This position is one of the top financial leadership roles in the PCS Group business segment. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to work with the PCS Group, ESA Senior Leadership Team, the Electrical Sector and Corporate finance teams.

What you’ll do:

• Provide guidance and support in reviewing and analyzing monthly results and forecasts, including appropriate commentary to the Group, Sector and Corporate leadership teams. Highlight areas of concern and recommend improvement actions.

• Perform financial analyses to support strategic business decision making, including market & price strategy, product family profitability changing business models, make vs. buy analysis, capital expenditures etc.

• Drive FP&A process and systems improvements to ensure the integrity of financial results and to improve efficiencies. Provide guidance and support in reviewing and analyzing monthly results and forecasts, including appropriate commentary to the Group, Sector and Corporate leadership teams. Highlight areas of concern and recommend improvement actions.

• Interface actively with the Region/Division finance leaders, Sector and Corporate finance teams (tax, audit, treasury, etc) and PCS Group Senior Leadership Team.

• Strong interpersonal, team-building skills and experience presenting recommendations to senior executives.

• Evaluates capital appropriation request and works with the Regions/Divisions to ensure documents meet all corporate requirements and clearly articulate capital requirements and associated benefits to the organization.

• Extensive coordination and interaction with Division controllers, Americas/Sector finance, and operations. Manages the monthly reporting requirements and deliverables to the PCS leadership team and Americas finance team, ensuring timely submissions, accurate reporting and analysis, and timely follow-ups to all requests and questions.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business and/or finance from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 7 years of accounting and/or finance experience within a manufacturing organization.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree

• 5 years of experience leading matrix teams

• Commercial finance experience

• FP&A experience

• Operations finance experience

• Ability to operate across, and influence within, a complex matrixed global organizational structure.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts.

• Pronouncements of external regulatory bodies, such as Financial Accounting Standards Board, SEC, IRS, IASB, etc.

• International experience across financial disciplines, i.e., tax strategies, transfer pricing, currency hedging, statutory reporting, legal entity implications, etc.

• Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operations analyses/reports.

• Working knowledge of financial and ERP systems.

• General knowledge of all functional areas of the Group, Sector and Corporate organizations.

• Working knowledge of sourcing and manufacturing practices followed by Operations personnel.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03 - $200200.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
