Honeywell Lead Quality Engineering Technician - 1st shift in Minneapolis, Minnesota

As a Lead Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aerospace products. You will collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to provide technical expertise to support our manufacturing processes and maintain compliance with industry standards. You will report directly to our Sr. Quality Manager, and you will work on site at our Minneapolis, MN location. Your diligence and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.

In this role, you will impact the success of our quality operations by providing quality support and technical expertise to ensure smooth production processes and timely delivery of products.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our Aerospace business unit by leading quality inspections, conducting first article inspections, participate in audits, and implementing corrective actions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. Your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in identifying and resolving quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or collaborate with a team of technicians to provide guidance and support to ensure smooth production processes.

  • Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance to standards.

  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to meet production goals.

  • Support the delivery of high-quality products.

  • Support material dispositions for conformance and nonconformance.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma

  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, of which 3 years in a Quality Technician or related role

  • 3 years reading and interpreting technical work instructions, specifications, and part drawings.

  • 1 year experience in dimensional identification and part measurement

  • 1 year experience supporting/participating in an AS9100/ISO9001 audit.
