As the program manager for American Indian Education Aid at the Minnesota Department of Education, your role will involve developing programs and formulating recommendations for schools, districts, and charters that receive American Indian Education Aid. Your responsibilities include implementing changes to establish ongoing improvement processes for school district programs in compliance with American Indian Education Aid (AIEA) and American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) standards.

Additionally, you will oversee the Minnesota Indian Teacher Training Program (MITTP), ensuring adequate support systems are in place to foster the program's advancement and the development of its participants.

Minimum Qualifications

Five years of professional experience managing programming specific to American Indian Students.

OR

A bachelor's or master's degree and four years of professional experience managing programming specific to American Indian Students.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with Minnesota Tribal Nations.

  • Experience with AIEA and AIPAC programs.
