Description Key parts of the role include preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Requirements - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Skilled with ERP systems
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Financial Statement experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Month-end Close Activities
Command of Month-end Journal Entries
Strong familiarity with Perform Month-end
Experience with property accounting
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Able to manage time well
