Robert Half’s client is growing manufacturing company that is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join their finance team. The successful candidate will have a high level of proficiency in conducting all aspects of accounts payable functions, including processing, tracking, and recording payments multiple locations. This senior role is vital for maintaining the company’s financial records and ensuring our company continues to operate accurately, efficiently and in good standing with all our clients valued partners.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Coding invoices, vendor setup, and vendor master data maintenance.

Setting guidelines for proper invoicing and coding processes to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.

Implementing industry best practices across multiple locations' accounts payable functions.

Overseeing cash flow reports and ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Analyzing and verifying expense reports and other invoices.

Verifying payments for final approval, reviewing checks and vouchers.

Reconciling accounts payable total and general ledger balances.

Maintaining accurate purchase records for tax preparation and audit purposes.

Managing the 1099 filing process.

Ensuring secure filing and storage of financial records.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

Proficiency in SAP is highly preferred.

Associate's degree or equivalent higher education level.

3+ years as AP Manager or Lead
