Today we are seeking career-driven students to join us this summer as Field Merchandiser with our Acosta Summer Paid Internship program.

Acosta offer hands-on experience in today’s workforce in skills such as sales, negotiation techniques, effective problem-solving, business relationships, and presentation/communication skills. This valuable experience can grow into career possibilities like Team Lead, District Manager, Merchandiser Trainer, Account Manager, Director, and other opportunities within the company.

This opportunity will offer you direct experience with our top sales representatives and merchandisers to learn about territory management, retail execution, and building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Executing in-store program priorities

• Setting up point of sale material

• Conducting audits

• Detailed reporting

• Managing in-store inventory, stock replenishment, and packing overstock/returns

• Establishing exceptional working relationships with in-store staff (especially key decision makers such as store managers)

• Negotiating premier shelf space and front of store presence

Qualifications

• Be a current or recent grad of a Canadian college or university.

• Be available to work Monday to Friday from May-August (possibility of extension)

• Have a reliable vehicle and driver's license.

• Be able to lift 20-50 lbs
