Job Title: Principal Sustainability Consultant
Location: Flexible

Responsibilities will include:
Deliver sustainability, environmental, and carbon strategy projects on time and within budget
Manage project resources, conduct reviews, and ensure quality
Provide high-quality technical consulting to clients
Follow financial and risk procedures. Support the development of the Sustainability Business Plan
Respond to client tenders and contribute to large bids
Stay informed on sustainability trends, legislation, and technical developments
Ensure adequate tools and facilities are available
Manage resource plans and optimize team utilization. Communicate the Consulting Group's results and BV UK's strategies
Implement the competency framework and conduct performance appraisals
Candidate requirements include:
Sustainability consulting/advisory experience
Experience in global sustainability and assurance standards and guidelines
Strong analytical and report writing skills
Ability to encourage others to develop new skills and enhance existing ones
Ability to think both globally and locally when developing and communicating objectives and strategies
Strive to improve performance and uses innovative methods to get there
Detailed and in-depth understanding of commercial risk
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Degree qualified in relevant subject (sustainability)
Member of a related professional institution (not essential)
