Product Marketing Manager, London

In this role, you will drive the marketing programs and go-to-market strategy for AVEVA’s Simulation and Learning solutions including AVEVA Process Simulation, AVEVA PRO/II Simulation, AVEVA Unified Learning and more. You will be responsible for understanding various process simulation technologies and their use cases in engineering workflows for process design, plant start-up, operations support and optimization. In this dynamic, global role, you will work with product and industry experts to develop compelling and differentiated messaging that communicates AVEVA’s unique value proposition in target markets. You will work cross-functionally with other marketing and sales teams to develop programs and tactics to generate sales opportunities for AVEVA’s software tools.

We deliver leading-edge industrial software to users in the energy, process industries, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors. As the Product Marketing Manager for Simulation & Learning solutions, you will be an integral member in the Portfolio and Industry marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive messaging and positioning that incorporates AVEVA’s combined value proposition across the design / operate / optimize lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with AVEVA’s Performance and Content Marketing team to craft campaigns that nurture existing customers and generate new demand.

  • Create audience-centric content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, drive awareness, customer engagement, adoption, and retention.

  • Work with the sales and business development teams to develop compelling customer presentations and other sales enablement tools to maximize sales productivity, pipeline velocity, and close rates.

  • Create product launch materials and support enablement sessions on new product releases within your portfolio area of responsibility.

  • Use digital marketing and SEO tactics to drive organic traffic to our digital content.

  • Help AVEVA customers tell their success stories through customer advocacy activities such as testimonials, event presentations, and webinars.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, or a related field.

  • 3+ years experience as an end user of chemical engineering or process simulation software or experience in product, portfolio, or solution marketing within the industrial software or related markets

  • Critical thinker with proven ability to develop and define differentiated messaging and positioning for products and services.

  • Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organizational environment in a collaborative fashion with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

  • Comfortable presenting in front of an audience, live or virtually.

  • Strong writing skills with an ability to explain complex topics concisely.

  • Excellent analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and optimize your own efforts.
