Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in the Insurance industry, located in the Orlando/Lake Mary, Florida. This role primarily involves case management, legal research and writing, and communication with clients and courts.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing legal cases in a timely and effective manner

• Conducting comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings

• Drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence as required

• Handling complaints and disputes with professionalism and in accordance with company policy

• Utilizing legal software and management systems to track case progression

• Liaising with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information

• Communicating with courts and other legal professionals as necessary

• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and well-organized

• Handling cases related to insurance defense and civil litigation

• Assisting with other duties as required to support the legal team.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of experience in the Insurance company industry

-Must be barred in Florida and good standing

• Proven competency in legal software and management systems

• Demonstrated ability in briefing, civil litigation, and complaint handling

• Proficient in preparing and maintaining legal documentation

• Previous experience in case management, specifically in the area of insurance defense and defense litigation

• Strong legal research and legal writing skills

• Ability to draft legal documents with proficiency

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong ethical and professional standards.
