The Clinical Assistant supports our patient center mission by working alongside our Medical Assistants to support the needs of patients and providers
MISSION: To provide clinical excellence with outstanding patient experience while ensuring that all members of the community have access to quality, comprehensive, patient-centered health care.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Greet and direct patients to the examining room.
- Participate in daily clinical huddles.
- Maintains supplies and inventory by checking stock daily: anticipating needed supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Adhere to the laws regarding safeguarding medical information according to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to quiet.
Variable work hours to meet the needs of the organization may be required.

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; or stoop. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have adequate transportation to be able to commute to any of the Family Health Center sites.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to acquire knowledge electronic health systems. Basic typing skills and the ability to use computer software.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a team.
- Basic Life Support and CPR Certified required. (Can complete after hire.)
