SUMMARY This position is responsible for preparing samples of raw materials and finished products for analytical and microbiological testing using standard methods and for performing support activities for the Analytical and Microbiology Labs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately weigh samples and prepare composites ensuring sample homogeneity Prepare solutions, reagents, and media following established recipes Verify lab equipment and environment is operating within acceptable parameters Process glassware, sterile supplies and waste Stock materials and supplies for testing Clean and organize lab following schedule Perform tasks according to written SOPs and safety requirements Maintain neat, accurate, and complete records such that they are defendable through an FDA audit Perform other lab-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
