Habana Labs is a group at Intel that focuses on developing disruptive solutions that will shape the future of AI and Deep Learning computing.

In this position you will work with an experienced software engineering team on developing software solutions integrating our proprietary software stack for hardware deep learning accelerators with the most popular deep learning frameworks.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated engineer who loves to lead others to join our team.

Our Engineer:

• Works with internal engineering teams and external partners, customers, and ISVs to deliver optimized AI solutions using Intel products with the goal of driving adoption of Intel products.

• Researches technical trends and utilizes deep domain and market segment expertise to prototype solutions and develop AI software including open source libraries and models.

• Optimizes performance of AI models through deep knowledge and expertise of AI frameworks, algorithms, models, and related hardware.

• Researches, develops, and adjusts new or existing AI models, code, parameters, and/or quantization to address issues and modify operations to enhance performance.

• Partners with AI algorithm and framework engineers as needed to optimize endtoend AI models to Intel hardware features.

• Serves as a trusted technical advisor and provides technical enabling.

• Partners with Intel software and hardware product development teams to accelerate and optimize future products in AI and HPC domains by leading application preenabling and product hardening.

• Delivers competitive and differentiated benchmark collateral and identify and drive key workloads into product requirements and architect innovative projection methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Problem-solving skills a can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership of product quality are the key in this role.

• The role in our QA team extends to software engineering so the candidate is required to demonstrate experience in professional Python programming, C/C++ experience is an additional advantage.

• AI neural networks knowledge would be a turbo boost for applying candidates.

• Experience with Linux from the user perspective and Bash scripting

• Experience with virtualized environments and dockers.

• Ability to plan and maintain test suites for continuous integration and related processes using Jenkins.

• Experience in working closely with development and DevOps teams excellent communication skills.

• Fluency in English.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
