The main focus of this position is to serve as a program leader, consultant, coach and trainer in the identification, development, and delivery of results-focused interventions to support Weatherby leaders in their growth and development. You will serve as a sales leadership coach and trainer to Weatherby sales leaders, teams of leaders and leaders with their people in order to support leader growth and development, and ensure a servant leadership talent pipeline as Weatherby continues to grow. This requires collaborative assessment and support of leader and team performance, practices, and behaviors in order to develop appropriate needs-based plans and learning programs to improve overall leader effectiveness. You will be responsible to effectively lead formal leader development programs including curriculum design and delivery as well as one-on-one and small group coaching. Where appropriate, you will evaluate the effectiveness of learning and coaching solutions and provide evaluation feedback to senior leadership. You will also support improved implementation of LEAP, PCL and other classes offered by the CHG Leadership Development team.

  • Work collaboratively with Weatherby leaders at all levels to assess and analyze individual leader and team performance, practices, and behaviors in order to develop appropriate interventions to improve overall leader effectiveness.

  • Provide Leadership Development consultative services to division, department, leaders and employees.

  • Serve as the primary sales leadership development point of contact for assigned departments and teams.

  • Lead assigned leadership development programs from cradle to grave, including early identification of need; design and development of solution and materials; implementation, facilitation and/or coaching; and evaluation of learning interventions targeted at improving individual leader, leadership team and overall organizational performance.

  • Act as a back-up facilitator for other learning programs, as needed.

  • Where appropriate, support organizational evaluation tools designed to improve leader performance and talent identification, growth and succession planning.

  • May lead junior members of growing Leadership Development team

  • Up to 20% travel

  • Demonstrated history of successful sales leadership

  • Proven ability to build relationships with leaders where the leaders seek your advice and trust your judgment

  • Self-starter with the willingness and ability to learn new skills and information including program management, learning theories and design, facilitation and coaching

  • Able to plan and implement short and long-term goals

  • Strong influencing and listening skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Professional one-on-one, small group and classroom facilitation, and positive C Suite presence

  • Proven success with utilizing feedback and direction to modify goals and projects to better meet business needs

  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Demonstrated competency in MS Office suite, and ability to acquire competencies in elearning and other development tools (Adobe suite)
