Elevance Health Member Retention Field Associate (Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese) in Flushing, New York

Member Retention Field Associate

Location: Must be located within 50 miles of New York City | This hybrid position will be working 3 days in the field and 2 days from home

Schedule: 5 days per week, rotating between Monday-Friday and Monday-Thursday and Saturday

The Member Retention Field Associate is responsible for managing members scheduled to lose Medicaid, FHP or CHIP coverage in the recertification process.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages members and recertifies their benefits with the State prior to the member losing coverage.

  • Manages enrollment with completing applications that were submitted as incomplete or were determined to have presumptive or temporary eligibility.

  • Collects delinquent premiums to ensure members do not lose healthcare coverage.

  • Completes assigned appointments in a timely manner.

  • Creates recertification appointments by home visits from member contact lists.

  • Attends recertification events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 1+ years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.

  • The ability to work flexible hours and weekends and to pass Marketing Training Program to become certified as a Facilitated Enroller in NY State.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $25.90/hr to $32.38/hr.
