Prep Cook/Kitchen Support Full time Hours 7am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday Pay starting at $17.19-$18.24/depending on experience.

Urgently seeking Prep cook/Kitchen Support to assist with the preparation and delivery of food services for a youth treatment center. Experience working in a cafeteria setting is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities to Include:

• Assist with preparation and delivery of food for clients.
• Maintaining a clean environment
• Monitoring inventory of food/grocery items
• Coordinate menu planning/content with Food Service Manager
• Accommodate special diets; use diet manual, document on menu and notify Food Service Director.
• Provide the Food Service Manager with the necessary information to compile accurate food production records of all meals. This will include information related to portion size and variation of recipes/menus.
• Maintain high level of Joint Commission standards and documenting records of food temperatures before start of service and cooler temperatures. Maintain and monitor all food by labeling and dating with the appropriate measures.
• Coordinate with the Food Services Manager for purchase of food and supplies.
• Provide necessary receipts to the Food Services Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in food service field
• Current food handlers card or ability to get one.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Background will be viewed.
