Everts Air Operations Coordinator in Fairbanks, Alaska

The Operations Coordinator handles a variety of tasks that ensure smooth daily operations and verifies that all deadlines and qualifications are met. Tasks include tracking deadlines, conducting audits, performing administrative duties, project management, and organizing training events. This position utilizes processes and resources in a manner that is efficient, effective and contributes to the overall success of the department in achieving goals.

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide administrative support for the Director of Operations and the Chief Pilot (Part 121 and 135).
  2. Track Operations FAA deadlines including Op Spec, Exemptions and Deviations.
  3. Be the Point Person for Operations with regards to Part 121 and Part 135 FAA communication including manual submissions and FAA notifications.
  4. Process the Pilot Record Improvement Act (PRIA) and Pilot Record Database (PRD) programs including processing current and past pilot records as required by the law.
  5. Transform written or verbal operational topics into specified memos, bulletins, and letters and distribute accordingly to appropriate
  6. Conduct monthly Ops Bulletins audits to ensure they are incorporated into the manual systems timely.
  7. Work with the Chief Pilots Office, Training Department, and Flight Control to schedule check rides, pilot and check pilot notifications of training and SIM events.
  8. Assist the Flight Operations Training Manager with planning, scheduling, and organizing training events including coordination of instructors, facilities, materials, and information.
  9. Track new FAA regulations as they become known and work with the Operations Team to ensure 100% compliance.
  10. Participate with flightcrew recruiting by phone screening, interviewing, and managing the onboarding process.
  11. Be the Primary DER for the National Air Transportation Association Compliance Services (NATA) and maintain certification as a NATA fingerprint technician.
  12. Process Civil Aircraft Landing Permit renewals - as needed with the Department of Defense (DoD).
  13. Make crew house and vehicle reservations for visiting personnel. Participate in crew house notifications.
  14. Accomplish such other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  1. Associate degree preferred
  2. 2 - 5 years of administrative or equivalent experience
  3. Computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  4. Ability to demonstrate personal credibility and trustworthiness
  5. High level of confidentiality
  6. Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  7. Capable of working with diverse personalities and under severe time constraints and pressure
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  9. Effective in team setting
  10. Experience in planning and organizing projects
  11. Excellent follow-thru skills and a high level of accountability
  12. Ability to think on their feet and work independently
