C.H. Robinson Associate Accountant in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
C.H. Robinson is seeking an Associate Accountant , a key role that significantly impacts the accuracy and timeliness of our global accounting operations. By collaborating with global accounting teams and business stakeholders, you will help ensure our financial information is precise and relevant. As an Associate Accountant, you will prepare, analyze, and review accounting details from multiple systems, ensuring that financial statements are correctly stated. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and solution-oriented approach will drive operational excellence and adherence to best practices. This position will be a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Execute accounting operations inside Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Services, and proprietary software environments
Record journal and subledger accounting entries, including multiple currencies and ledgers
Participate in monthly close processes and review results as required
Prepare account reconciliations to support balance sheet positions, including proposing accounting entries to resolve issues in a timely manner
Support and execute internal controls and statutory requirements
Assist with external audit requests as required
Follow corporate policy and accounting best practices in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Coordinate accounting matters with peers at a corporate and regional accounting level
Respond to queries from the network and promote accounting solutions to financial operations teams
Actively participate in team and corporate learning opportunities and initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud and other cloud-based Oracle solutions, or similar ERP platforms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Accountability to protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Comfort working with large datasets
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Ability to work well within a team
