Position Summary

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Denver seeks applicants for up to two tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning September 1, 2024, with research interests in the broad area of biochemistry, biophysical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, chemical biology, and related fields. The successful candidate will have a PhD and post-doctoral experience in a relevant field and demonstrated potential for leadership in their field including a record of high-impact research accomplishments. • Manage a high-impact research program that augments the research directions of the Department, including both undergraduate and graduate students.
• Secure research funding from extramural granting agencies.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a manner that creates a supportive learning environment for students with a range of backgrounds and professional goals.
