Copeland Senior Technical Project Manager in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

Copeland is a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, creating efficient residential, commercial, and industrial spaces through HVACR technologies.

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to support he Enterprise Network Services area under the mentorship and direction of the Portfolio Manager.

You will perform systems development coordination activities specific to major IT applications, including staff coordination and tracking of project requirements. Develops, plans, analyses, estimates and prioritizes components to be implemented, as well as project phases and deadlines.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Follows the Enterprise IT Project Management methodology and, as appropriate, the Service Delivery 'framework'.

  • Responsible for the successful completion of managed projects: determines project approach, staffing requirements, responsibilities and time planning.

  • Develops and/or revises estimates of project timeline, effort and cost using existing models, industry standard methodologies and previous experience.

  • Defines project team roles, expectations and provides timely feedback. Ensures that resources allocated to the project receive the vital training and are used efficiently.

  • Measures and monitors project progress at defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget and meeting or exceeding expectations.

  • Balances scope, schedule, budget, quality and project risks and makes adjustments as needed.

  • Coordinates relationships between different teams in different locations as well as relationships

  • Reviews and coordinates all changes related to project requirements through well-defined processes and, acquires consensus from management for all changes to key project plans, commitments, requirements, implementation plans, budgets, schedule and scope changes.

  • Arranges project status meetings and conference calls at required intervals and follows up on actions required as a result of these discussions. When necessary, must present issues to senior management for resolution.

  • Uses specific tools to track project information, landmarks, dates, risks, issues, project performance and health indicators, and perform resource management tasks.

  • Represents the project portfolio at project review meetings and as needed in the Security Council, IT Council or other venues as the need arises.

  • Ensures that the final product meets contract and sponsor expectations.

  • Responsible for the entire Process Improvement process within Service Transition to improve the quality of deliverables and operations.

  • Ensures that all transactions are accurately monitored and recorded in accordance with Trade Compliance policies and procedures and brings up any questions or issues to the ITC Gatekeeper.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience

  • 6 years of solid experience in project management

  • 2 years experience in IT project management on a medium to large scale

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification

  • Proven knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE and Agile

  • Strong communication, collaboration and customer relationship skills

  • Experience in security and IT infrastructure projects

  • Experience working in global organizations

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Presentation skills in multiple international languages

  • Accuracy and thoroughness on processes and their documentation

  • Experience in managing new services
