Duties and Responsibilities

The Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Department of Medicine/Division of Nephrology in conjunction with the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, seeks a Nephrologist, Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Nephrology to join its Transplant Nephrology group. This position will staff pre- and post-transplant clinics, share on-call duties including the inpatient service, develop their own continuity of care clinic, assist with outreach efforts, waitlist management, and living donation. They will also be expected to participate in selection committee meetings, quality assurance and process improvement, and protocol development.

MacNeal is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, an inpatient skilled nursing facility and a 68-bed behavioral health program and community clinics.
