IQVIA Payers, Providers, Government Sector Sales Associate Director (Healthcare) in Bucharest, Romania

The Associate Director of Payers, Providers, Government (PPG) Sector Sales is responsible for building, managing, and leading the PPG engagements by overseeing sales, operations, and strategies for new and existing customers of IQVIA. The role leads the PPG Engagement and activities for integration, by identifying key players, design advocacy initiatives & campaigns, identification, and management of private partners, designing private sector engagement models, PPG performance monitoring frameworks, risk assessment and mitigation, and execution of related activities

Objective of the role: Reviews and analyzes client requirements and develops insightful, value add proposals; communicates with clients; develops and may present complete client-specific solutions and recommendations. Creates client reports. Connects business problems to proper solutions and offerings. Primarily project focused and solution driven. Develops and/or elevates new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new leads. Provides follow-up with client after project deliverables are complete to ensure client satisfaction.

The right candidate will play a critical role in the creation and execution of PPG (Team, Strategy, Systems & Process) to maximize the adoption of IQVIA within the PPG market.

Responsibilities

  • Drives, manages, and executes the business and revenue of the public and private sector sales team by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues

  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within assigned accounts; seeks out and identifies new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients

  • Primary owner of client engagements with ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value

  • Supports quotation and proposal efforts to partners, prospects, and customers

  • Plans, develops, coordinates, and assists with project activities through all project phases; allocates, obtains and manages resources and project management tools to achieve project objectives; creates and implements assessment processes to ensure that projects are completed on time, project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budget

  • Serves as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • Typically requires 5 years’ experience in in managing Public Health programs in developing and implementing strategies for public and private sector engagement as an individual contributor

  • 1-3 years’ experience supervisory experience is required

  • Preferred candidates will have experience in business-to-business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach, and will have strong demonstrated partnering and closing skills

  • Have very good understanding of Romanian health system and private health sector including hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, health insurance, and others; exceptional knowledge of healthcare authorities’ infrastructure and agencies

  • Must have expertise around European and Local Healthcare authorities’ procurement and the various buying vehicles to enable growth in software sales via our distribution partners; understanding of execution modalities of PNRR and European funded projects will be an asset

  • Experience in selling software or hardware, including distribution, corporate resellers, and value-added resellers (VARS), would be an asset

  • Experience with partner recruitment, enablement, and ongoing support.
