As our new Market Access Manager, you will combine science, economical and communications aspects in one role. You will gain and maintain national access for our new and existing products by submitting pricing and reimbursement dossiers. You will build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and optimize business opportunities.

This position is located in Brussels, and you will report directly to the national Head of Market Access and Public Affairs .

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Optimize national, regional and local market access of new and launched medicines by developing the strategy locally and tailoring the tools and tactics to local market needs.

  • Identify, engage, build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, that are needed for the flawless execution of the Market Access Strategies for the responsible Therapeutic Areas (TAs).

  • Create and set up innovative and impactful projects that support the needs of the customers and create win-win partnerships.

  • Monitor the healthcare and political environment and competitive landscape to capture events impacting market access of the medicines and advise Head of Market Access on actions to address national, regional and local threats and opportunities.

  • Represent market access in the brand teams of the relevant TAs.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Academic Master’s degree in Medicine/Pharmacology/Health economics/Health Management/Lifesciences.

  • Good understanding of the Belgian healthcare ecosystem and regulation.

  • At least 2 years of experience in market access in the Belgian market.

  • Excellent command of the Dutch & French & English languages .

  • Solid understanding of payers and patients’ needs.

  • Ability to create and offer value adding solutions.

  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills to share scientific content and context to multiple audiences – both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to use a multitude of channels in the interaction with stakeholders.

  • Accountable: prioritize your work, and drive execution excellence through discipline and collaboration.

  • Entrepreneurial and agile: come up with new ideas in a rapidly evolving environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Independent and meticulous cross functional team player.

  • Charismatic and enthusiastic personality as well as a distinctive hands-on mentality and passion for pioneering tasks.

  • Highest personal values and ethical standards.
