We are seeking a Residential Counselor to join our team in our Bethlehem, PAlocation. Position Details The Residential Counselor works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all consumers with mental and behavioral health diagnoses in their residential programs while carrying out direct care responsibilities. The facility is a small (up to 7 residents), home-like setting in a residential neighborhood. The residents are independent with personal care (staff are not hands-on with showering, etc.) The Residential Counselor will: participate in and follows the treatment planning process. organize and engage residents in community-based recovery based and recreational activities (movies, shopping, eating out, parks, etc.) lead/Co-lead educational and recreational group activities. coach/model/educate on activities of daily living (cooking, cleaning, hygiene, budgeting, shopping) and communication skills- provide reminders and education about social norms and safety. provide support/comfort/guidance to residents. Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A High School Diploma and/or a GED, associate or bachelor's Degree preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age Experience working with adults in residential and/or community settings with behavioral or mental health challenges is preferred. Valid Driver's License Required. Me be able to work Tuesday through Saturday, 7am-3pm
