We are seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our team in our Bethlehem, PA location. The Psychiatric Technician will: administer medication and therapeutic treatments, monitor for potential side effects and report. provide care in a manner that considers the patient's rights, safety, comfort and the overall therapeutic environment. observe, document and report resident behavior. monitor and document weights, blood pressure, pulse and respiration per MD orders and monthly for all residents. communicate with co-workers and supervisors in a timely manner that affects patient care or well-being. fill in resident charts. assist in orientation and training of new staff members, understand, and implement Merakey policies and procedures. complete assessment forms on each client on admission, quarterly and as needed. Someone in this role will order refills of medications, act as lead staff when the Administrator or Asst. Administrator is not available. complete all other duties as assigned by the Administrator. Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Mental Health experience is preferred. Valid driver's license is required. Must be 21 years old. Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D. Must be able to work 3rd shift (11 pm-7 am) and a rotation of weekends
