  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • 3-5 years' experience in environmental compliance for manufacturing operations
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder')
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Environmental permitting and compliance experience with concentrations in air, waste management and stormwater management.
  • Knowledge of applicable Federal and State related regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving and human relations skills.
  • Critical skills include Execution, attention to detail, initiative, conflict resolution, collaboration, building ownership and commitment, establishing and direction, drive for change, getting organization support and tenacity.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Full time, first shift. Occasional evening and weekend work required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: Moderately Heavy - Limited to 40 pounds
  • Standing/Walking: Moderate 40 - 60% or more of workday
  • Bending/Twisting: Light 10% or more of workday
  • Temperature Extremes (percent of time working in non-climate controlled, production environment): Moderate 40 - 60% of workday.
  • Noise: Hearing protection always required in shop and on production floor
