Charles Schwab Manager, Software Development & Engineering in Austin, Texas

Duties : Develop, code, deploy, and deliver SAFE application to QA and ultimately to production. Enhance & add new features to SAFE application to make the application more fault tolerant & resilient. Manage day-to-day activities and collaborate with team members to leverage, follow and support agile software development practices. Work with Scrum Master and Product Owner to provide development sizing and cost analysis estimates. Collaborate with product owner and team members to decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks in Jira. Utilize automated software test tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and frameworks for test drive development and to achieve software quality standards. Perform Root Cause Analysis and fix bugs reported by QA and testing teams. Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $151,403 to $214,700 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include the following: Design, develop, and test applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, Entity framework, AWS S3 API and security framework (OAUTH); Develop UI applications using Angular, Typescript, and integrate with AWS SDK to chunk large files and used SDK similar to Acuant to capture client’s photos real-time thru mobile; Integrate with third party vendor similar to OPSWAT to scan the files to detect for malware; Use Blue-Green deployment mechanism to deploy applications to PCF; Use RabbitMQ to scale applications, process, and transfer files asynchronously between applications; Write Splunk queries to trigger alerts and create dashboards in Splunk for business metrics; and Use LoadRunner or JMeter for performance testing the application.
