For our Digital Customer Experience Program (DCE), we are seeking a Back-End Developer with experience in containerization and infrastructure as code to contribute to the development of outstanding web products.

As a member of the international Digital Customer Experience team, you will collaborate with over 140 colleagues worldwide. We are committed to enhancing and leading the digital customer experience at Danfoss, merging business requirements with IT to create innovative digital solutions.

In The Danfoss Digital Customer Experience Program (DCE) no days are alike, and we work with several digital platforms like Salesforce, Umbraco, Contentstack, Algolia, and Google. We support digital customers' touch points from our websites and online product store to marketing automation and e-learning. And tomorrow it might be a completely new solution we are building.

This position is based in our Monterrey offices, with the option to work from home a few days a week if preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Develop new and support existing web applications and APIs.

• Diagnosing problems, inefficiencies, and weaknesses and working to improve them.

• Help secure and improve our infrastructure as code setup, thinking optimization, automation, security, stability, and performance.

• Writing great code together with the rest of the team – we emphasize collaboration via coding together, code review, and documentation.

Exciting projects you will also be working on:

• Cooperating with your team members on the transition towards Composable Architecture, enabling DCE to become a professional supplier of digital services to internal stakeholders and external customers.

• Co-working with your internal and external team members on a project based on a recent large company acquisition that is setting new standards within the company (API first approach, composable architecture)

Background & Skills

• Educational Background in Information Technology field or equivalent culture.

• +5 years of experience in similar roles within the web application area, preferably gained in medium-sized international companies.

• In-depth knowledge of modern Typescript, .NET Core, C#, and writing testable, maintainable code.

• Experience with testing and test automation (unit, integration, e2e).

• Proficiency in OpenAPI, REST, and GraphQL.

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD/CT pipelines, and automated deployments (to PaaS infrastructure and IaaS).

• Knowledge of NodeJS, Kubernetes, containerization, SQL, NoSQL databases, and prior experience using Pulumi.

• Strong knowledge of English language (written & spoken)
